Cricket betting at jeewin — odds for all major matches from BPL to T20 World Cup
Bet on Bangladesh's most popular sport at jeewin. Live odds are available across all markets — from match winner to toss, top batsman and over/under.
Cricket Formats and Competitions
Cricket is played in three main formats — T20, ODI and Test — and the type of betting differs in each format.
T20 is the shortest and fastest format. Each team plays only 20 overs, so matches feature big shots and high scores. In this format, bettors mainly show interest in match winner, winning margin and most sixes markets. BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) is Bangladesh's biggest T20 competition, during which betting activity on the platform is especially active. At the international level, the T20 World Cup holds a special place in every cricket fan's calendar.
ODI format gives each team 50 overs. The pace of the match is largely strategy-driven. Bangladesh Tigers' ODI matches are quite popular in the country, and jeewin also offers odds for international series including IPL.
Test cricket is a five-day contest. A draw is possible here, so the market has three result options — Team A wins, Team B wins, or draw. This variety sets Test betting apart from other formats.
Differences between cricket, football and other sports betting
In cricket, there are mainly two outcomes (no draw in T20 and ODI), so setting odds is somewhat simpler than in football. In football, with three outcomes — home, away and draw — the market is broader. Goal count and card markets are also popular with football bettors.
jeewin also has betting markets for other sports such as tennis, badminton and kabaddi. In tennis, set-by-set betting and game handicap are quite popular. Since each sport has its own rules, the style of betting also differs.
The key difference is that in cricket, events like innings, overs and wickets change the odds in real time, making live betting more active. This is discussed in detail in the live betting section below.
Crash games offer a fast-paced betting experience similar to cricket. The crash bonus page has detailed information on the rules and offers for these games.
Popular Betting Markets
Several markets are available for cricket betting at jeewin. The most common markets are briefly explained below — Team A and Team B are used as examples throughout.
Match Winner
The simplest market — who will win the match. In T20 or ODI, there are only two options: Team A or Team B. In Test, a draw is also added. Say Team A's odds are 2.10 and Team B's are 1.75 — Team B is considered the favourite.
Most PopularToss Betting
A bet on which team will win the toss before the match begins. This is a completely independent event — it has no connection to the match result. Generally, the odds for both teams are close to each other.
Quick ResultTop Batsman
In this market, bets are placed on which batter will score the most runs in the match. Decisions can be made by considering batting form and pitch conditions.
Skill-BasedTotal Runs Over/Under
Whether more (over) or fewer (under) runs will be scored than a set number. For example — if the line for the first innings is set at 160 runs, you can bet on over or under.
Run-BasedMulti Bet
Placing bets on the results of multiple matches together. Example: selecting Team A, Team B and Team A in three separate matches multiplies the three odds together. If all are correct the return increases; if even one is wrong the entire bet is lost.
High Return PotentialHandicap and Over-by-Over
In the handicap market, the weaker team is given a virtual advantage, making the match level on paper. In over-by-over betting, separate bets can be placed on the runs scored in each individual over.
StrategicHow to Read Odds
Odds are expressed in three formats — decimal, fractional and American. Decimal format is used most at jeewin because it is easy to understand.
| Format | Team A (Underdog) | Team B (Favourite) | What it means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 3.00 | 1.50 | Total return on the bet (including stake) |
| Fractional | 2/1 | 1/2 | Profit ÷ stake |
| American | +200 | −200 | + means profit on 100, − means how much is needed to win 100 |
Example 1 — Betting on the underdog (Team A, ৳500)
Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. With a ৳500 bet, if Team A wins the total return is ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 original stake). If Team A loses, ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Betting on the favourite (Team B, ৳500)
Decimal 1.50 = Fractional 1/2 = American −200. American minus odds show how much needs to be staked to win ৳100. With a ৳500 bet, if Team B wins the total return is ৳750 (৳250 profit).
Live In-Play Betting
In-play or live betting is the option to place bets while a match is in progress. In cricket, odds change instantly when a wicket falls or a big six is hit. For example — if a team scores 60 runs in the powerplay, their odds of winning decrease (meaning they become the favourite).
There is less time to make decisions in live betting. You need to quickly decide which market to bet on based on the match situation and pitch behaviour. Many bettors do in-play betting while watching the match, as it allows direct observation.
Detailed information about live in-play betting and streaming features is available on the BeterLive Live page — that page covers this topic in depth.
For a multi bet with three selections at odds of 1.60, 1.80 and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.60 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.47 (approximately), meaning a ৳100 bet returns ৳547 if all selections are correct. But if even one selection is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Some practical tips before you start betting
- Stick to your budget. Decide how much you will spend before each betting session. Do not go beyond that limit.
- Start with one market. The match winner market is the simplest for new bettors. Rather than betting on multiple markets at once, it is better to get comfortable with one first.
- Compare odds. Watch how odds across different markets in the same match are changing. This makes it easier to understand how markets move.
- Avoid rushing in live betting. Odds change fast in in-play betting. Do not make decisions based on emotion — understand the situation before placing a bet.
- Betting is for entertainment. Never treat betting as a source of income — it is a recreational activity. Read the responsible gaming guidelines to play responsibly.
- Be careful with multi bets. Multi bets offer higher returns but also carry higher risk. Consider each selection separately.
What is a betting exchange?
In a betting exchange, you bet against another bettor, not against the site. BACK means betting in favour of a team — you profit if Team A wins, and lose the stake if they lose. LAY means betting against a team — you win if Team A does not win, but if they do win, you must pay the other bettor's profit.
Example: BACK on Team A at decimal 2.00 — a ৳500 bet returns ৳500 profit if they win (before commission). LAY on Team A — ৳500 profit if Team A does not win; ৳500 must be paid out if Team A wins.
